Advocacy and Community are at the heart of IWG’s work. We have leveraged the power of social media to expand advocacy across several areas of work, such as:

  • The Unprecedented Times (2020): IWG’s first social media campaign, the Unprecedented Times, was an archive of stories that highlighted the lived experiences of emerging professionals during the initial stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, and their hopes for strengthening their local and global
  • IWG Global Vaccine Equity Campaign (2021): The IWG Global Vaccine Equity Campaign brought together the perspectives of individuals around the world with a mission to advocate for greater access and distribution to COVID-19 vaccine and vaccine technology.
